![]() LeGrand Coffee House was started by Eric LeGrand, who sustained a spinal cord injury at his C3 and C4 vertebrae while playing football for Rutgers University in October 2010, paralyzing him from the neck down. "There's the eastern end cap and we're negotiating, we're on the third draft of the lease for that, and then the western end cap, we're negotiating the terms of a letter of intent, so there will be three more tenants coming to the center in addition to LeGrand Coffee House and The UPS store," he said, adding the two end caps are approximately 2,100 square feet. The combined square footage of these two spaces is just under 4,000 square feet, he said. "We are in the final stages of negotiating one tenant who's going to take two of those spaces," said Fourniadis. There are six retail spaces in total in the building. The lease marks the second retail commitment at Avenue & Green. LeGrand Coffee House is set to open its first brick-and-mortar shop in January 2022.Īnd more are in the works.
